C-section pain?

This question is not for me, it's for my co-worker. She's 2 months PP, here and there she'll have pretty painful twinges where her c-section scar is. Is there anything she can do to help with the pain other than take ibuprofen or acetaminophen?

not that i know of. Just stay active. Has she seen a doctor? my pain was completely gone by then, except for when i had a cough or ran for a long distance.

Yes she went to her 6wk pp appt and was cleared for everything. But she at least twice a week complains of pain.

That pain is normal or so my doc said. I had a c section back in April, my daughter is nearly 5 months old now. My wound is healed but it still hurts every so often especially at the edges. Plus the muscles around it still feel like they're pulled or something. And below it is completely numb, due to cut nerves. My doc said it can take 6 months to heal, sometimes even longer grrr! If it's really bothering me I just take ibuprofen. Nothing much else helps me. Thankfully at this stage it's not a constant thing anymore.

I'm 8 months PP and still have twinges of pain. I never had them this late after my first 2 c-sections though. I've just accepted it and live with it.

If it's really bad, she should let her doctor now.
