Nervous

My baby was born at 31 weeks and 6 days gestation on August 20th. she is now 3 weeks old. The nurse said she might get to come home this weekend! But im so nervous she wont be ready and i might have to bring her back to the hospital. were any of you ladies scared or nervous when you brought your baby home from the NICU?

i was terrified. i thought, what if the doctors are wrong, and it's too soon?!
what if I miss something?
what if I screw up?

i think the NICU is very scary, and it's totally normal to be nervous during and after. but remember, these guys know what they're doing.
when they let her go, it will be because everyone IS ready

Very normal to be worried. I was was worried too.

I know it easier said than done but just remember they do this for a living, the doctors won't let baby come home until ready!

well one reason im so nervous is because i had her transferred to my local hospital and they are much smaller than the one she was born in and they have level 2 nursery. i guess im just worried that they dont have the same expertise as the larger hospital but since they are smaller she gets more attention. i just hope she gets strong enough to come home soon
