your favorite childrens books

I am gonna purchase some kid books within the next couple of days... and would like to know what is your favorite book or books for children? I have two favorites if anybody else is looking for good books to read to their kiddies.

my all time fav kids book is Goodnight Moon. and when my first was born i got it as a gift from mymom, some special edition.
my son reall yloves it too now. i used to have to read it to him 5 times a night!

another favorite is I Love you FOrever by Robert Munch. and Green Eggs and Ham

I love Goodnight Moon funny thing is I didn't understand it until I started reading it to my daughter! LOL
