Love should bring out the best in you. Sounds like S just brings out the bad in you (makes you lie and go behind the back of someone who actually treats you well). He's with someone else, and if he can cheat on her, he will cheat on you just the same.

Think about how he wasn't there for your kids. He wasn't there when you were pregnant or for your daughter when she was a baby. He isn't avoid man. You would ruin your children's lives.

You have someone that treats you right after you repeatedly treat them wrong. Its obvious you need to forget about him and stick with your husband.

I agree. You should stay with dh. S sounds like nothing but a slippery slope. It is normal to have "soul ties" to the father of your children, but he has not been a real father to them--nor a husband to you. It sounds like you need to go for some professional counceling and work through your feelings toward having healthier thoughts and actions.
