From my understanding, you had lost contact but you couldn't stop thinking about it and contacted him, and went to see him. Imo, if he was manipulating you, he would contacted you out of the blue and whispered sweet nothings, promising the world to see you - then want nothing to do with you.

I didnt like being in that relationship. I cried most of the time. Became bulemic. I was crazy those beginning years.
My children being planned. .. it was like him telling me and actually tricking me in the end .... he said he loved me and wanted to be with me and wanted our family and bla bla bal plus got me drunk and when we did it he was like telling me he wanted another baby. turns out he did it on purpose bc he didnt want my dd to be an only child. Honestly Im not trying to say hey feel bad for me and give me your pity but he was really a smurfed up person. And even trying to talk to him when I was pregnant bc he would always msg me rude things. he would tell me how smurfed up i am keeping the kids from him and how i led him on. but he did serious things that i was protecting my dd from. I left my dh bc I wanted to make sure I was doing what was best for my dd. I didnt plan on things to end up like this. I wanted what every mother wants their childs father in the childs life. I thought S was best for her.

If you liked him not being in the picture, you wouldn't have lied to your husband to go smurf this sorry piece of smurf. And you wouldn't be saying how you miss him.
And it doesn't matter that your husband can't have kids, that doesn't give you the right to go make them with other guys.
Not sure if you know this or not, but when you're married, you're supposed to be loyal to the man you married.
Do your husband a favor and file for divorce.
