IMO, its kinda the same thing as having a step dad. Shes step mommy lol

Issues are sortof part of life. I don't think being a lesbian or straight prevents them. It's the family though that helps us through them. I would think 3 people that love your son would be a positive thing.

Being a lesbian doesn't make you a bad mother or automatically eff up your child.

Like any other parent, it's your actions and your partner's actions, love, etc that will make your cutie pie son.

But the thing is when i explain it to other they create tension and hell allot of it ! -___- , People see Chelsea , Julian , his father , and i at the park and its always that one questions that pops off or something about my family i thought it was just me !

Well...some people are morons.

There is no other explanations. People like to judge and be nosy and yadda yadda.

If you make a big deal out of it...it will be one. If you brush it off and laugh...it will go unnoticed.

I used to babysit for a family friend. She had two boys ((with a man, obviously)) and then switched sides. Everything was normal in the household. Kids were fine and are still fine at 13 and 16. They called their biological mother, mom, and their moms long term g/f, mommy. At first, it was just by her name.

If you are just one on one with her, just explain that families are all different. Some have two moms, two dads, one mom and a grandma, etc.

The only thing that could be confusing IMO, is if you introduce a man and then still have that girl on the side or something...but still...that is your families business. People won't always understand somethings, but it doesnt mean you are being a bad mother or anything, because there is plenty of children raised by same sex parents and their children are fine.
