i have this car seat for my truck....http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4360517&searchURL=false

its extremely heavy like 50 lbs. anyways im looking to getting another one for a spare for when i drop her off at the sitters. One that is lighter!

So im caught between these two. Graco bc i already have hers just the bigger one. But then the Safety 1st bc it has the adjustable harness the smaller graco does not   here they are...any suggestions? im open to everything. there both only 20 lbs!

They are both good seats, rear facing up to 40 pounds, forward facing up to 65 pounds.
Personally I love the Safety First Alpha Omega Elite because it holds up to 100 pounds, but it only does rear facing up to 35 pounds. But to me because it can hold up to 100 pounds it means less money not having to buy an additional booster.

yeah i was going to just buy another one like i have it goes to 100 lbs. but its such a hassle to carry it and i wanted something easier to get up and go for my mom. she really doesnt go anywhere just down the road or to the store. and the 50 lb car seat is redic! plus getting the base in and then locking the carseat. The graco smart seat is def made to be put in a vehicle and to stay there!

ill have to look at the alpha omega....do you know how much it weighs?

Ill have to check I'm adding it to my friends registry so I can get the 10% from her unbought items. Plus the 25% off for a trade in! Hopefully its there!

Both the My Ride and CA65 are great seats. I've had 2 My Rides and loved them- fit my kids well and easy install but their one draw back is the side to side room. It's pretty bulky in that respect so for moving back and forth the CA65 may be a better bet.

I def wouldn't recommend the AOE as it has lower harness height, weight limits and can actually make a dangerous booster for it's misplacement of the seat belt on most kids. It's booster has been firmly placed in the "Not recommended" category if the recent IIHS ratings.
