What are your complications? ):

I have not had a C section. . but why are they saying that you need one? what are your complications? I am just wondering. I am 34 weeks.

What kind of complications are you having that you are going to have to have a csection? If you have had 2 natural births already it doesn't make sense that he doesn't want you to go into labor.

I've had 3 c-sections. I loved every one of them, but then again, I don't have a natural birth to compare it to.

At least you can prepare for it. A prepared, planned c-section is less traumatizing. Everything will be ok. Promise. Some women would rather have c-sections than give natural birth. Of course, I wouldn't have one unless i HAD to. Good luck!

The healing process is the only bad part. Just follow your doctors instructions for after care of your stitches/staples, walk as much as you can, and take your pain medication. The worst part is if you sit around for too long, because when you try to get up again, it feels like hell. If you get up more often, it doesn't hurt as bad. It also sucks riding home in the car when hitting bumps, and if you have to cough. I used the pillow method (holding a pillow against incision), and it helped me but others disagree. I'm not going to lie, the healing was worse for me than actual labor, but it will pass after a week or two, besides the coughing thing. That still gets me at 5 mo pp.

I didn't have a c-section early, but I had an emergency c-section 12 hours into labor when my son went into distress. You will feel tugging and a lot of pressure.

I had one vaginal, my first, then one c section. Honestly it wasnt THAT bad. And I got a cold during mine and was hawking up phlegm after lol. Once I goy home I didnt even need the pain meds. Advice? Hug a pillow whrn you are going to sit up, cough, or sneeze, or laugh.

I had a c section at 37 weeks because my son was breech. i went into labor naturally though. I knew I was going to have a c section because I had a ultrasound 3 days prior into going into labor. I think I psyched myself out and made myself more nervous then needed. My recovery was terrible, but that was because I had horrible care at the hospital. My sister had a c section the next year and had no problems.

Well I had a c section but it was emergency + at 39 weeks 5 days. I had to have one due to complications during labour + since I had a reaction to the epidural I had to have a full anaesthetic. I hated that + still do grrr. I really wanted a natural birth especially as it was my first baby. Because I had a general anaesthetic I couldn't even hold my baby for a full day, it took a while to sleep it off. And I got sick after it, some kind of mystery fever. But in saying that, the next day once i got up + started walking bit by bit there was a huge change in me! It hurt like hell but the sooner you are out of bed + even just walking a bit the better for you, it helps you heal quicker. I found that pressing a pillow against my belly helped + walkin as upright as possible. Take the pain meds they offer too. I recovered fairly quickly cos I kept walkin around when I could. Just take it easy + don't try to do too much at once. GL mama, hope it all goes well for you, soon u will have your lil one in your arms!

I had a c-section and it's not that bad. The worse part for me was when they were pulling her out, they did a lot of tugging and it actually made me feel like I couldn't breath but they had to tug more because she was already really far down and I ended up going into labor before the c-section. Healing was a piece of cake for me, the first 4 days were probably the worse then after that I wasn't taking anymore pain meds. Good luck! And you'll be fine
