How long til you have a period after a miscarriage
posted 10th Sep
Hi I had a miscarriage at the end of june, I have not had a period since. The doctor told me it wasnt a miscarraige as i had no hormones in my urine but i passed lots of clots and a fetal sac which contradicted the doctor ( they adjusted there diagnosis). i have always has irregular periods from my PCOS how long is too long before I need to visit my idiot doctor?

I don't know much about PCOS and I know it can be different for everyone, but it was exactly 4 weeks for me.
Why don't you see a new doctor?

It took 4 weeks for me

4 weeks after I re-miscarried (I had the first miscarriage but retained some placental tissue and had a second hormonally induced miscarriage) but 6 weeks from the first one.

this is my 3rd since I was diagnosed with PCOS and none are sympathetic or understanding all they say is its due to my weight. I know im not small but im not overly large either. I only put the weight on when diagnosed. I dont eat junk and i excersies frequently but cant loose the weight. its so fustrating. even when i had the miscarraige I had to have the fetal sac to prove it was what i though it was even though i was bleeding so much and the doctor could see my blood loss the hospital even sent me home bleeding so heavly i passed out and had to return. I was then on iron tablets for 4 weeks as ended up aniemic.
