Question for cervix checkers (TMI?)

Yuck, never thought I'd be posting on a forum asking about cervix checking, but there you go. The things we'll do while TTC. I read Mandy's sticky about cervix position and tried to get intructions from a few websites on how do check it for ovulation. I already Oed this month but I've been checking every now and then (assuming I'm doing it properly!) just so I get an idea of how it is normally so I know next month when it's different. I've got a week until AF is due and I checked today and it's definitely higher (suddenly I can barely reach!) but I wouldn't say it was soft. Anyone else get this? I know it changes position in pregnancy, which would be briliant, but it would be way to early for that. Any cronic cervix checkers got explanations for movement away from O time?

Thanks  . Made the mistake of googling it and found that some woman notice this as early as 12 days after ovulation in early pregnany, but I really don't want to get my hopes just to be disappointed next week  .

yeah I know what you mean. You want to be hopeful, but at the same time, month after month you get tired of false hope and the hard crash of dissapointment after.   hugs girl and lots of baby dust!

Don't start. It's really not worth obsessing about something else.

I noticed that every time after ovulation for me, my cervix is high and soft, the day before or the day of af, it lowers and becomes hard. So cervix in my opinion is only good when wanting to check for ovulation.
