Mmmhm. That's the truth! When my sister passed last year, we were all so full of "what if we had done this..would she still be here?" But..You can't let it depress you, OP. Those are questions that will never be answered. You were a good friend to him, from what it seems, and it was a freak accident. No one could have stopped it. I'm sorry for your loss.
