My sons dad is engaged but just easiest to call her his 'step mom'

She adds me on FB.. whateva. I like her just fine and I'm happy for Jay(sons dad) but it seriously smurfing annoys me when she posts stuff on FB about my son. I picked him up from his dads on Aug 30 and she posts "Ugh, goodbyes get harder and harder, missing my son" vomit. then she posts a picture of Jay and Noah that says "my boys" vomit some more.

I'm glad that jay has surrounded our kid with people who love him.. but seriously she isn't his mom, why does she say that stuff? O_O It's weird.

I feel ya. BD's ex did that smurf.

i post pictures of SOs DD but i dont call her my daughter or anything, especially if i was friends with her mom on fb... which i dont have to worry about seeing as she hates my guts....

just talk to jay and tell him it bothers you.. you should be able to discuss those things with each other...

My ex's girlfriend better never pull that kind of things...

But yet again, I don't have her on facebook and hate her guts...

Since she's doing it because she actually cares about him, she'll probably respect your wishes if you ask her not to claim him as her "son". Just talk to her about what makes you uncomfortable.

BD's FWB who turned into his fiance in a matter of months is now teaching my daughter her religion.

Lets just say... it makes me so happy to know that I'm not a fit mother because I don't believe what they do. Never mind the fact that I'm her sole caregiver, get no CS, and still have to let them take her for visitation, despite them telling her she doesn't have to brush her hair if she doesn't want to, because that's a choice that a 3 year old should be allowed to make!

However, at least she is being nice to him. My step mom was evil (still is) to me, she wouldn't let my dad spend time with me/show affection for me. It was awful.

That's true. At least she's not one of those that's saying that smurf after 2 weeks of dating and doesn't actually care about him, ya know? I'd be upset about it too, though. I'm not sure what I would do about it.

No way! My son's dad knows better than to let anyone claim my son as their's. He wouldn't like it if my son calls another man dad...it is probably the ONLY thing we agree on 100%.

That's true. They've been together like a year and a half and are actually expecting a baby of their own in a few months O_O

My SO is like that. If we broke up he said he didn't even want another man AROUND his son, let alone claiming him.
