Reflux

My five month old preemie ....3 months adjusted is on Enfamil AR due to reflux..we also bf...wic will not cover this brand should I keep him on it or switch brands to save some money...ugh idk what to do

My daughter had severe ar, and had to be put on soy formula. We used similac though, and it was a life saver!!

He has had three different formulas this one works pretty well along with meds ..i just hate to switch again but it is super expensive

I have no personal experience, but I've heard both IRL and on here that if you get a prescription, a different formula *should* be covered. Good luck =}

Yup I am in VA and even with script it has to be a similac product STUPID

formula is very standardized
there is the same similac version for everything enfamil has
for example, similac's Sensitive is the same as enfamil's Gentleease
just ask your doctor
or you can even just call Similac directly, they'll (happily!) tell you

I checked the ingredients......none were the same except rice starch

i would call Similac directly and ask them. I am confident they can help. They even have nurses on call

poor kid.

one of my girls has it prety bad. she hurls ALL THE TIME.
we haven't actually switched formula or anything, still on Neosure.

The neosure was so hard on his belly.....we had to switch even though neosure had more calories

yeah, we might try the Similac Sensitive prety soon
our pedi says it's up to us when to stop the Neosure
but it's been so phenomenal for their catch up growth, I've been reluctant to switch
it's just been AMAZING how they've grown on it.....
