I dont really have any facts to put behind my answer, but i just dont see it being right to have her bundled up so that she cant move and let her cry. I would assume this would go along with causing detachment problems. When you're baby is with you they're supposed to feel safe. If you're just letting them cry and be upset they wont look to you for comfort as they get older. It will also hinder the bond. I dont think it was "abusive" I just dont think you should do it.

Shes a drama queen she crys for nothing and a long time even if you comfort her sometimes and she will laugh while doing it. I guess she just does it when she wants to. And it was only for 10-20 mins and it was not the whole time it was off and on. And she going to be 9 months.

Yeah I think that's smurfed up. You guys created her bad sleeping habits, you shouldn't be punishing her for what she's been taught. If she is fighting it and crying then she doesn't like it, that's mean. I hate that feeling more than anything (being restrained), you will probably make her claustrophobic as she gets older. Bedtime should be relaxing.

That's just smurfed up. How would you like it if someone did that to you?   That isn't being a drama queen. I really hope you don't allow this to continue. & 10-20 mins is a long time to be crying. I would never let my kid cry that long

At nine months they are just babies. They aren't drama queens, attention hogs. They are just babies.

Parent your kid. What you're doing to a baby sounds absolutely wrong

She's 9 months old? Seriously. She's not a drama queen, she's a baby.

daycares get shut down for doing that.. not sure how I feel about it. I've always tried methods that don't involve my child getting overtly upset.

That had to be yramatising it would be one thing to let her cry for a bit in her bed but to hold her down...so wrong.

I want to know who said it's okay to do this..

OP she's 9 months. Is probably closterphobic as stated above. And 10-20 minutes of restraining any person at all, even an infant is insane. Unless it's a NB that enjoys being swaddled.

She does not have a bad sleeping habit since she was a month old she slept since 10pm sometimes 11pm till 9am. She started this month waking up in the middle of the night thing but has now stopped and just like to lay next to us till she k.o. And he only wrapped her up if she stays up past 4 hours and after we tried everything. So this only happen 3 times. She back to sleep threw the whole night,

Whoever voting that it is okay, is just sick.

I would smurfing hate any human being who restrained me for that long. Smurf that.
