Op what's your bedtime routine? Is it purely doing this? Have you tried bath, bottle, book, bed?

Please, do something else. There are many things you could do to help her sleep better. This is not healthy or right. You posted this asking opinions.

She would have been back to sleeping through the whole night either way. Humans go through phases, babies go through growth spurts and their sleeping patterns change etc. Doing something to her where she is clearly expressing discomfort is wrong.

And no she likes to being swaddled and cuddle with because for nap time and when she sick she loves to be wrapped up. If we do not wrap her up she try to get as close as possible to our bodies and sticks her face in any place she can so hide and cuddle.

Really drama queen? She's a baby, disgusting. You are restraining her like she's some violent person when she's just a frustrated baby looking for comfort. How about trying a new decent routine.

My son was swaddled up until he was 11 months old, never had to hold him down he just loved being swaddled. Your child obviously does not. I'm not surprised she's a "drama queen" she is clearly needing your attention and you are balantly ignoring her needs.

Seriously. She does not like being held down.
Who the hell does ?

There are other ways to get her to sleep.

Just stop doing that !

Being swaddled & cuddled is entirely different than being wrapped up & completely unable to move because someone is restricting you. Stop trying to defend this.

I've had 3 babies and never heard anything like this?! 20 minutes of restraining a 9 month old baby IS crazy and abusive in my opinion .

Then tell him he is no longer allowed to do that. You have a voice in raising your daughter. I would honestly be extremely disturbed if I asked my partner to stop doing that but he continued.

Does she like whine because she's tired or is she generally like screaming trying to break out of the swaddle? I hold my daughter and cuddle her, rock her and pat her butt to go to sleep and she whines off and on for like 5 minutes or so cause she's fighting sleep but then she closes her eyes, i put her down and she stays asleep.
