Aw haha. I like it but it's sickening how common it is. But my husband is the biggest pain in the ass ever when it comes to baby names so its a miracle when we agree on anything.

My husband sucks about names too. It took us forever to agree on one... then when we finally did (Teegan), he changed his mind a couple months later and we had to start all over.. then we finally agreed on another one (Jolene).. and he changed his mind on that a couple months later.

When we finally agreed on this one (Berlin), I told him that if he was going to change his mind, he better do it within the week or not at all. lol.. cuz to him, baby isn't real until she's here.. but to me.. she's real and that's her smurfing name dammit! I'm associating that with who she is, I'm calling her that.. Quit messing it up!!! lol.

Booo.

I named my daughter Norah because it wasn't popular at the time. And I was considering the name Clarissa with the nickname Clara if we ever have another daughter.

The -Lyn thing has already been done to death for the past almost decade, so I don't really see it as on the rise but already there. Same with Kennedy, it's already been super trendy for a few years now.

It's sad, I actually LOVE several names in the top 10, especially Sophia and Olivia, but I couldn't bring myself to use them, but I would SO rather see beautiful classy names like these become popular then crappy masculine names for girls.

I'm sad about Lucy and Violet, those are two of my favorites.
Delilah has always been my favorite name, and Charlotte. SO picked Charlotte for dd of course. But she is going by Lottie, which doesn't seem to be very common. I will have a Delilah someday. Though I can see that blowing up too.

I don't think you should worry TOO much about Delilah, honestly. It doesn't have that broad appeal that a lot of the top names have and I think the Biblical connotations kind of throw a lot of people off of it. I see just Lilah taking off more than Delilah - it may continue to rise, but I don't see it breaking into the top 20 or anything. I just looked and it's hovered around the same area since 2008, o I feel comfortable saying it's kind of topped out. (at 172)

I you're right. I agree a lot of people are turned off by the stupid Samson and Delilah story. I'm not religious so it doesn't bother me. I will use it if I have another girl if I have to beg and plead. I also agree that Lilah may become pretty popular.

Is that pronounced just how it's spelled? "Is-ley" or "eyes-lee"
