I would've give anything for mine & I enjoy having them.. But did I want them before I found out about them? Hell no! It's the popular thing though now... Everybodys having twins!

As a newborn they were super easy! Did yours start sleeping through the night super early, too? But now that they're getting mobile.. It's getting harder.

Mine started sleeping through the night at 3 weeks! Back then it was sooo easy. Double bottle, double change, then bed... Now there's breakfast, lunch, dinner, keeping them entertained and all this mess. lol

Right! It is much harder on them to be twins than it is on me. I look at them and just wish that they could be individuals instead of people lumping them as one. They really just want to be their own little person.

They are easy. Especially if they are your first. You don't know any better. lol I love my kids. All three of them. My girls were first and oh, how it was wonderful to watch them grow together and play. It still is.

My girls are 4 and I just think how blessed and lucky I am to be their mother. My husband and I tried a very long time to get pregnant. We gave up and suprise!! lol Then 25 months after we recieved the gift of the girls we got our handsome little man. I am a very proud momma. It doesn't matter twin or singleton.

The thing that bothers me about everyone and the "I wish I had twins" thing is that they think it is "cute". They don't realize how hard it is to divide your time equally between them as they get older. When you are alone with them and they are not feeling well. They will just want their own time. Then who do you choose? As they get older, they want most of the same things but struggle to be different. People constantly group them as one rather than appreciate them for being individuals. I am very lucky with the girls preschool. Their teacher goes above and beyond to make sure that my girls are treated as individuals. She doesn't say "Tori and Olivia blah blah blah". She calls on them one at a time and allows them both to speak or do a project ect... on their own. It is a great help in them developing their own interests. Damn Hollywierd for making it a status symbol to have twins! Why can't it go back to that obnoxious purse dog thing?

I nursed my girls for 14 months and I can count on one hand the number of times I fed tandem. I did it one at a time each time. Then again, they were always a few minutes behind each other in needs. THANKFULLY! lol

Obviously I ff, but we did everything at the same time. Bottle in each hand, feed them at the same time, change diaper 1 after another... Since they were my first, and I have nothing to compare it to, I thought they were easy. Even now they're on the same schedule. I love them, and wouldn't trade them for anything, but sometimes I'd like to be out in public with them and not have people ask "are they twins"... Why don't you dress them exactly alike... And all the other questions people ask. Like they have to dress alike because they look alike... Or their names have to rhyme or start with the same letters or the other "twin fads" people follow. My kids can't ever be Bradyn & Jake.. It's always "the twins" or "the boys".

I haven't had my twins yet but I can say before I became pregnant with them I never in a million years would have considered having twins or that I would have twins. Not that I am not extremely excited about it now. I also never knew anyone with twins previous to this twin pregnancy. Now all I hear and see are twins, twins, twins everywhere. I always thought it was fairly uncommon. It is like when you buy a car and you never really saw the car or paid attention to the car before and now that you own a car you see the car everywhere....lol Do you know what I mean? Kind of funny.

Oh and one of the questions I got a lot at first was, "oh were you doing the invetro fertilization." At first I didn't even know what they were talking about like what does that have to do with twins...lol So I researched it and of course that is the cause for increase in twin babies. Which is great if it works for people who are struggling with having babies but in my case it was just purely all natural and extremely shocking. My thing was why would anyone ask that question, it is kind of personal for those who are trying.
