Kinda Depressed... pretty long

this might be a bit long but I need to vent... Im gunna have a baby in a few weeks.. im young and still live with my mom.. I have sooo much support from my mom and my boyfriend.. My mom is disabled and only gets one check a month and her boyfriend is like feeding off of her money and its completely KILLING me I try to talk to her about stuff but she always sticks up for her boyfriend and talks down about mine even though he pays 200 in bills while her boyfriend doesnt have a job.. Today my mom and I were fighting about when my boyfriend is gunna give her the money for the bills and I told her when he sees the bills he'll pay because he doesnt want her spending the money on her dumbass boyfriend and my brother (which he's 20 and can get a damn job) and she said she want an extra 50 for my baby shower and her boyfriend had an odd job today and I said ' well cant he help with the baby shower?' and she said well he is but I need and extra 50 to help and I know for a fact she's gunna buy cigs for her freakin boyfriend and it's really pissing me off!!!! Im getting ready to have a baby we need to focus on diapers and wipes and things the BABY needs not her stupid ass boyfriend.. UGH im getting really upset and depressed about this whole situation.. Am I just over reacting or am I right? Thank you for reading

You don't have to give her money--- but she also doesn't have to help with your baby shower. Or.... any baby things. So. Yaknow.

I'm sorry that's so stressful, best thing I can tell you is stop saying anything about the boyfriend at all , she needs to see things for herself, and by you and her fighting about him it's making your relationship with her strained . Maybe you and your boyfriend can look into moving a little after the baby is born?

Super advice for a freaking 15 year old. OP sometimes you just have to suck it up and deal with it. When you can get a job and then move out, you won't have anything to complain about then.

Well it stinks but it's not really your business, either. She's providing not only you but your boyfriend and soon your child with a place to live. If she wants money for that, it's none of your business how she spends the money. It's a bit different with the baby shower, but she's also being nice enough to throw you one, too.

If she wants to spend her money on her boyfriend that's her thing, you have nothing to do with it. You can talk to her about it but if she doesn't listen you're wasting your time. Worry about you and your baby not your mom, her money and her boyfriend.

If you're living with her and paying her rent then honestly, she can spend that money however she wants.. If she chooses to buy her boyfriend cigarettes with it, that's her prerogative.
Also I don't see why her boyfriend should have to help pay for your baby shower??
