texas child support

July 18th we had our last court date and we made a temporary child support agreement because BD was on a layoff from work but hes ordered to pay 300 in childsupport and 100 in medical support that was supposed to start August 1st. Well he didn't pay im guessing and i called in the middle of august. They said they had his new jobs info to start withholding. well here it is september first and nothing. My question really is how long did it take to get your first payment

Same thing happened to me, I am in KY though. My ex was suppose to start paying in November, which he didn't. I called my worker around the beginning of December and she mailed a letter to his employer to start automatically taking it out of his checks, I didn't receive anything until the end of December, almost Jan, so for me it at least took 3 almost 4 weeks after I called, and it wasn't even the full amount for the month.

I had court in April and he didn't pay so I contacted child support services in may and to this day I still have not received a dime. He's been at his job for almost ten years and they have already contacted his employer to start the wage garnishment but I haven't gotten a thing. Matter of face I'm on hold with child support on the phone right now, checking on my case.
