I was expecting one, and then they just let me go I was like, huh, okay lol

You should check with the hospital first hand info is the way to go

Hospitals do carseat checks... You just need to know how to put your baby in there safely, you don't need an infant seat.

Not all do car seat checks.
The hospitals around here aren't allowed to say a word because of liability issues. You could put your baby in there unstrapped and they'd let you leave

They will watch ou buckle baby in but it should be fine!

Took my youngest home from the hospital in the my ride walked right out with her no one checked or came with me to see me put her in I did tell them I had a car seat tho

I walked out of the hosp and my DH carried my son in his infant carrier....no one checked him in his carrier or checked to see if the base was instaled properly in the car!
