Antidepressants

During pregnancy. Is there no safe antidepressants? I kinda had a problem with depression before pregnancy. But now that my life is crappy I'm extreme depressed. Talking to someone wont help.

Once you're out of the first trimester, there are a few considered safe. I think they're Paxil, Prozac and Celexa, at least that was according to my old OB.

I have a doctor appt tomorrow. So i will be bringing it up to her. I seriously need help. I can't keep feeling like this.

I know just how you feel. I'm trying to go as long as possible without my meds right now, but I take some heavier stuff. I'll probably be starting my celexa again soon, however.

All of them have risks. It is just a matter of whether you need them bad enough to risk it. I go through HELL during my pregnancies because I won't take the risk to my baby by taking antidepressants during my pregnancy. But my GOD did I need them.

I was taking Zoloft before pregnancy but weaned myself off when started to TTC. Now its obvious that I need help. Especially now more than ever. I feel alone. I don't have anyone to talk to besides BG but that isn't helping me feel any better. I need to feel better for the babies. And maybe if I was more positive I'd get more call backs on jobs. Jobs means out and moving forward.

It's to the point where I have suicidal thoughts and dont want to do anything but cry and stay in bed. I definitely need them. I know I need help.
