Can anyone help me...I need advise

alright i dont know if any of you can help me but im 16 and my husband (baby daddy) is 20 he was 19 when i got pregnant but the court put a restraining order on us so we cant have any contact at all...but my mom did NOT press charges infact she signed for us to get married...does anyone have any advise for us??? could i possibly get a doctors note saying that its streeing me out and get that dropped??? it really is stressing me and the baby out and i know thats not good for either of us

How did u get married if there's a restraining order? Were u 15 when u got preg?

You would have to right a petition and go to court to have this dropped. That's far reaching as it is. Why is it in place?

Who put the restraining order on him?

I have no advice, but could you have your mom call the courts and see if she can get it lifted?

Weird I'f your 16 you're over the consent age ....

Somebody must have reported the statutory rape. How long have you been married?

Um I'm calling bs because they can't put a restraining order against your HUSBAND AFTER you're married. If it was considered illegal where you live you wouldn't have been able to marry him in the first place....

Yeah they can't DO that. They have no reason to do so once you're married.

But if they already married they can't do anything about it.
If she was younger than 16, she would have had to go before a judge to get permission to get married (in most states), if she is a 16+ than its legal.
