Genetic testing

So my doc wants me and DH to have genetic testing done because of 2 m/c. She also wants me to have a thromphilia work up. Has anyone had this? What are they looking for?

that's all about it hun. I met with a genetic counselor because DH has Marfan's Syndrome. Her name is Dr Susan Paulker at Harvard Vanguard in Boston.

But what could this have to do with m/c?

If you have a clotting disorder it could cause it.

Interesting...I had to come off birth control becuase I got a blood clot in my brain but then I had my little one so not sure

I would get the testing like the doc recommended, just to be safe. I know it's hard hun but try not to worry now because he's testing you for it, not saying you have it.

she said she didnt think anything would come of it but better safe than sorry
