I'm not sure. I was given Cytotec after i had my daughter cause i was bleeding too much. I had her with no pain meds and after the Labor the cramps from cytotec were like a walk in the park. I was given Vicodin afterwards maybe you can take that?

Is that what they normally give to help you pass at home? If so, I believe my aunt took it and was able to manage it with no pain meds.

For my 19 week loss last December. My Dr. used Cytotec. I did it with no pain meds. He gave me pain meds when he had to dig up to the top of my uterus to get clots out.

It probably would have been nice to have something to take the edge off, but it was really like annoying period cramps.

I hope things go well for you. A loss is never easy.

OP, I'm sorry if this upsets you (I'll delete) but would a D&C be safer for you? I'd hate for you to have problems on top of the miscarriage.
