Long day *vent*

I think Brooklyn might be going through a growth spurt or something. The past two days/nights all she does is nurse and cry, she hardly sleeps. I'm so exhausted I've hardly had any sleep. If she's not crying, my son is crying. It's non-stop, one or the other is crying. MIL thinks DD might be developing colic like her daddy did when he was a baby... I hope I get some sleep tonight.. I don't think I can take much more of this. DH is a big help, but the past few days he hasn't been able to help because he's been working two jobs and sleeping in between. Poor guy.

She might. My LO is exactly 1 month older than her and he got colic around that time. It's getting a little better but both my kids cry a LOT, my 3 year old is even worse, and God forbid they should both sleep at the same time!
My DH works a lot too....he's going to PA for 3 days for work and I think I may tear my hair out while he's gone lol.

I mean, my son is 2 months older than your daughter. I really can't do simple math? lol. Colic can start around 2-4 weeks and peaks at 6 weeks, and usually goes away around 3 months. They hit growth spurts at 2 weeks and it's common for them to nurse around the clock.

Yeah DH is working like 50-60 hours a week. It's insane! I hope she's not getting colicky... I think I might lose my mind...

That's pretty much what she is doing. Almost every single hour she wants to be attached to a tit. It's not so bad, but the constant crying from the two of my kids is going to drive me up the wall! I know what you mean about them sleeping at the same time! It's impossible with my two as soon as he's asleep she wakes up. As soon as she's asleep he wakes up. I want a nap!

How old is your son?
Today when the baby took his long nap, I put a movie on for my 3 year old, armed him with snacks and water, blocked the kitchen door and passed out for 2 hours. It was pretty cool.

He will be 2 on the 15th. He's a smurfing Houdini though and can get out of pretty much anywhere.

Oh, so he's too young to go without supervision that long. Damn. I swear I'm not having another kid until both of my boys are in school regularly. And 2 in diapers is tough.

DH wanted 6 kids originally. Then after DS we said no more, DD was a beautiful surprise! LOL Now we are for sure not having any more. I'm trying to talk my OB into letting me get some type of permanent birth control but because of my age she wont let me.

What is it with these men and multiple kids? My DH is 1 of 6 and thinks I'm going the same route. Hell smurfing no! I'm having one more and I'm done for good. I want to relax when I'm 30, party when I'm 40 lol.
How old are you? I thought it was 2 kids and 22 you can get your tubes tied. So I technically can but I want one more.

Last I heard, it was 33-36 and three kids. Sad,huh?

I'm 19.   It's 25 and 2 kids in the state of AZ. It varies state to state. Like Illinois is 21 and 2 kids, I think I might have to make a special trip there just to get my tubes tied!

Go for it if you're 100% sure. God bless you, I had my first at 19 and I could barely handle him, let alone 2 small ones lol.
