DR has to be wrong...PPLEASE HELP!!!

posted 19th May
DR says I am 20 weeks pregnant when everything else correlates with me being 22 weeks. LMP measurements I know the date I concieved...everything EXCEPT the u/s. I know its only 2 weeks but It makesa world of difference in my case. I lost my son to preeclampsia at 25 weeks, another 2 weeks wouldve saved his life. Does anyone know how I can convince my Dr. that I am right and the u/s is wrong?... Please help this could be a matter of losing another child or not...
Thanks in advance.
God Bless all of you. =)

Become a doctor yourself.

Seriously though, your doctor is most likely 100% right and you're just freaking because you're scared.

Maybe I'm confused, but if you don't have preeclampsia this time then what does 2 wks matter on the current baby?

convincing the doctor wont change how far along you actually are. this pregnancy is a whole new pregnancy. try and relax as much as you can and enjoy it. it's new. i hope everything is okay for you. i'm sure everything will be fine.

Just calm down and try to enjoy your pregnancy, I highly doubt you can convince your doctor to change your date, even if you know when your LMP was, youcan ovulate at different times it's not always the same so you might not be as far along as you think. And I think your doctor knows what he's doing!Don't stress yourself out too much.

I knew exactly when I conceived as well it was 2 weeks earlier than my LMP but I just went along with it. I delivered to the day of MY calculations.. But your baby will come when it's ready no matter what you or your doctor say. Ya know?

It matters A LOT I am at a huge risk for it happening again I am diabeic, kidney problems, history of 2 pregnancies with preeclampsia. I am 95 % sure I will develop it again...its just a matter of when. So 2 weeks could be th difference between 26 weeks and 28 weeks which makes the percentage of survival go up about 30 % more..

What will be, will be.

Being X weeks is not a guarantee of anything.

I realize it would give you peace of mind, but that's all it would give you.

Freaking out and stressing out about it really wont help either.. Try to relax everything will work out.

I didn't mean it badly. I know it's going to concern you. I think C put it well.

The baby is at a certain stage of development in your body regardless of what "week" the Dr. tells you that you are in.

What the fuck are you talking about???

How could two weeks be the determining factor in losing a baby or not?

seriously.....listen to your Doc. He/she has YEARS of training on you.
