I had sex (tmi)

Err... I'm not even 2 weeks PP yet and I've already had sex...lol. I think that makes me a horrible person...  
Has anyone else started having sex this early or am I completely alone?
I had a c-section so... somehow in my mind that makes it better...lol

I think its different if you have had a c section, but i dunno. i cant even think about sex yet lol. ugh. it sounds horrifiying.. i cant even think of the pap test im getting at the 6 week pp check up  

I was watching Talk Sex with Sue Johanssen (sp?) last night, and a woman called in and asked if there was a real medical reason to refrain from sex after a C-section and she said as long as you are feeling well and the incision is healing/healed there is no reason not too. Doctor's recommend the standard 6 weeks to cover their asses.

You're not a horrible person!! I only waited 11 days after my son and I had a c-section too.

lol. This was my 3rd c-section so I didn't even hurt much afterwards... I've been pain free for almot a week. Apprently I heal quickly...lol  

You should not have sex (even with a c-section unless your doctor clears you.
With that said my doctor told me at 2.5 weeks that when every I felt up to it I could start having sex when ever. We did once at 3 weeks and then not agian untill 8 weeks

I did and its easier to have sex after a c section it doesnt hurt as bad trust me i have had 2 vag births so i really dont think its that big of a deal but you'll prolly catch hell from some of the ppl on here.

seeing as you had a c-section i dont think you have as mucht o worry about, i think theyre more worried about infection with that since you still have to discharge everyting. but i had a vaginal deliverly and i wasnt even thinking of having sex after 2 weeks. phew.

It's the internal stitches you have to worry about, not the external ones.

That's why you're not supposed to do anything more strenuous than carry your newborn for roughly six weeks after a c-section.

If your external stitches pop, you sew them up. If the internal ones pop, you hemorrhage to death.

You need to heal on the inside as well..I'd be more careful if I were you.
