It may be weird if someone asks you who you are and stuff. But other then that. You should go. I showed up on my Dads front porch last year. I could see it in his eyes that he knew me, He answered to his name, but said his last name was not the same but didn't say what I showed up another day, left pictures in his mail box and Saw his mail. It was him. He was joyfuly scared. At least I tried.
