Anyone deliver at Mercy Gilbert Hospital?

Hey i'm a first time mommy, i'm delivering in Mercy Gilbert. I was just wondering if anyone else has delivered there. I want to know how you were treated and if they informed you of stuff well. I'm on Ahcccs and i've heard stories about hospitals treating you bad cause of the type of insurance you have.

I delivered my first and Chandler Regional and with my second was in triage after a all at Mercy. Mercy took great care of me. The doctors were very kind and helpful in explaining everything and the nurses were very sweet as well. Had we not moved to Cali I would of delivered my second at Mercy. However I will say if you are part of the Goodman and Partridge practice find a new doctor NOW!. I have heard nothing but horror stories from many of friends. Undiagnosed problems, loosing records, horrible patient care, the list goes on.

I delivered there and personally it was for the most part great. There were a few nurses I didn't like and then there were great ones. And I can understand the whole ahcccs thing too. I actually felt like that but towards my OB, Not the hospital. All in all it was fine. The rooms for delivery and after you have the baby are spacious and they have a nice older woman come around everyday to serve tea and crumpets. Literally. Lol. Good Luck OP!!

I delivered there in July. It was great, other than the cafeteria. I had to keep ordering my food over and over and they would never bring it, and by the time they did it was cold. Then I never got a choice of what they brought me in my post-partum room, all of a sudden they just brought a tray. I didn't get a choice until literally an hour before we were discharged. They tried asking me what I wanted for dinner and I kinda bugged out because I was trying to get choices the entire time we were there. Luckily my hubby and inlaws kept bringing me food.
