There was a little boy, Tripp, here in Louisiana that had it. I followed his mom's blog for a long time. He died though.

This is heartbreaking. But i've been to the hospital he is being transferred to and they are amazing. I hope they find a cure one day, or that his case lessens  

My friend from high school recently had a baby girl with EB. It is so sad I feel so bad for her, that would kill me to have to see my daughter in constant pain. Her daughter has been in the NICU since birth.  

I went to high school with the mother of this child. It really is sad and she is such a good hearted person. I don't know how she is holding it together right now because I would lose it. They just flew them to a hospital in Cincinatti(sp?)

Cincinnati* children's hospital is a wonderful hospital. I've been there a time or two when i was younger.
