Ovulation and BC

I was told that being on the pill stops you from ovulating. If you're on the pill, can you not track your ovulation then for better protection since the only way to ovulate is to miss a pill?

Random question that might not make sense but I've heard people tracking ovulation while on BC.

I know the one I'm on now I've actually had problems with ovulating. I was having a lot of pain. I have cysts so I figured I'd go to my doctor. She said I was actually ovulating which I shouldn't be so she put me on something stronger. Too bad my insurance smurfed me over and decided that the one pill that was helping my pain isn't going to be covered anymore.

I was having issues with my period and the Dr. put me on BC. I was pregnant two months later after I got constant with my period...I have cysts and lupus...so something was happening...

I don't see why not. BC is supposed to stop ovulation, but if you've had issues with it, it sounds like a good idea to chart to check if you are ovulating when you shouldn't be.

most bc states on the packet that it only suppresses ovulation ''sometimes''. it also alters your cervical mucus & makes the uturine lining unacceptable for a fertilized egg to implant.

Im on the mini pill and feel myself ovulate. :/

I posted my Dr drama on here I was on lo loesterin 24 and my Dr prescribed me loestern fe or something I had to change it because I was am ebfing and now she put me on the mini pill the past month I've changed pills 3 times so I've had crazy ness going on in my body and I've had AF too idk I just lost I don't wanna change pills again and mess my body up even more
