i know EXACTLY how you feel!!! my son has autism, hes 3 years old and just a few months ago started repeating a few words..hes never said "mama" or "i love you"...its heartbreaking to see other kids their age doing "normal" things..
it pisses me off so much to hear parents tell their kids to be quiet..im thinking..if you only knew how it would feel if your child wasnt talking at all

exactly... my son only makes baby noises... and people wonder ytf is he still doing that? and its not fair... i hate seeing kid leashes because if my son was walking i'd let him explore EVERYTHING!

he has a super rare genetic brain disorder called "leukodystrophy" and muscle dystrophy called "dystonia" ...

I dont have a child at all yet let alone one with a disability but I think youre an amazing mother because you admitted that theres a problem. I just heard of a thing called baby sign language, do you think he would be able to do that? I know alot of children with disabitilties can learn to do specialized movements before ever doing anything else. You sound like a very strong women   I would let him get frustrated for a while to see if he tries a little harder maybe.

leukodystrophy is just the umbrella term...theres no cause determined yet or how it happened... and no theres no treatments. just muscle relaxers for the dystonia
