February clothes question
posted 29th Aug
Im due towards the end of February and I got to thinking....
What kind of clothes should i get for the baby?? Full on winter clothes or more of "spring" clothes? It has been warm in Feb here and then it will randomly snow in late March. Im completely confused lol

DD was born feb 28 of this year. Feb and Macrh were pretty warm here. I had a mixture of things for her and sometimes layered her or adjusted the heat in the house.

here it's still very cold/snowy all the way through april. Honestly though you probably will only be able to find fall/winter clothes unless you plan on buying online now-jan. My daughter was born in april, and everyone bought spring/summer clothes for my shower sincethat was what was available in store. Now she has a bunch of summer clothes that will fit her during the dead of winter lol so i have to go shopping again to buy her some clothes for that season.

My DD was born February 22 this year and I got both types of clothes because you never know here either. I have another due February 11 so I'm going to do the same

get a little of both in a variety of sizes. I have a friend who had her baby a month after I had DS and her LO was bigger than my 1 month old. And if you have a little of both you"ll be able to dress you LO comfortably every day without worrying if he or she is going to be too hot or cold

DH starts his mowing/landscaping business in Feb that's how warm it is here at that time then randomly snows for 2 weeks lol. But I think ima get a mix of both up to maybe like 3-6 months and probably some jackets? And just a few "WINTER" outfits juuuuuuuuuuuuust incase. I plan on walking at the high school track a good amount after the baby is born so I want to make sure he or she is at the perfect temp and doesnt get sick.

My LO is due in February also... the weather is pretty unpredictable here at that time usually right at the end of Feb, its still cold but March can go either way.. I plan on buy some pants t-shirts and little zip up jackets.. usually the spring is still cool enough where you can wear pants and be fine even if it does get warm...

Garrett was born Feb. 8th and we had a couple long sleeve onesies and pants but other than that we just had some sleeper PJs. He was usually just covered with a blanket if we went anywhere. Of course, I am in Texas so I don't know exactly how cold it gets there..

My Son was born in january and my second is due in febuary .. When i would go out i always put him in a spring ''pochette'' its like a little dufflebag that attches to your baby car seat or stroller and when it would be colder i'd put a cozy blanket inside the pochette. As for everyday clothes he had mostly warm clothes because even in spring he was only 3 months old so he is still fragile to the cold weather..
