Ways to get labor started.

What are some ways that everyone know of to get labor going....I have been having on and off contractions praying labor would start I've been walking here and there but nothing so far any tips

I would just let it start on it's own if labor hasn't started yet then baby probably isn't ready to come out.

I heard long walks help get it going along when its time for you to be due  

LOTS and LOTS of sex...

just be patient. if the baby isnt ready to come out, then its not ready.
do what's best for your child. you dont want them coming out earlier than they need to.

   You haven't even hit your due date yet, the end of pregnancy sucks but you really just need to wait it out.

Well yeah even if I would do certain things to get labor started none of them work unless baby is ready so it doesn't hurt to try them out especially since I'm due in 6 days

Lol my due date is in 6 days its not like I'm 37 weeks wanting to get her out or wanting to be medically induced

Sex, walking, nipple stimulation, pineapples, teas?

But baby will come when he/she is ready.

You could try squatting, I heard that sometimes help, but honestly you should wait till baby is ready!

My OB leaves for her maternity leave on the 7th, so I've been walking a lot with my fingers crossed otherwise some stranger is going to deliver my baby  
I walked a lot and it's been fine, I think I'm slowly but surely losing my plug.  
However, yesterday I ended up hiking   that was no bueno. My muscles are soo sore, I was hobblin like an old lady yesterday  
  hiking not recommended, even though feeling slightly better today.
