Haven't used the medication and don't know what it's used for, but 13 weeks is the start of your second trimester.

For a vaginal infection, I'm not showing symptoms but she said its better to treat it before it gets bad, because the infection can cause problems, but the drug can too but it's not proven I'm soooo confused

I discovered I have hyperparathyroidism when I was about 12 weeks in. Doctor prescribed me synthroid but i grabbed the generic kind which says do not take during pregnancy can cause mental retardation in fetus.... sooo long story short, i'm not taking that. other note though, if it's going to cause problems having that infection, i would take that medicine.

I'm on that. I've only heard to keep up with it during pregnancy

Levothyroxine is the generic I'm on a high dose.

FDA pregnancy category A. Levothyroxine is not expected to harm an unborn baby. If you become pregnant while taking Levothyroxine, do not stop taking the medicine without your doctor's advice. Having low thyroid hormone levels during pregnancy could harm both mother and baby

I read mothers at risk artical, says its has not shown to cause any harm to the fetus. So my baby will be happy, and mommy will be healthy
