Hey girls, any thoughts?

So my little pumpkin is almost 7 weeks. My husband and I are contemplating on when we should start putting her to sleep in her crib. Currently she sleeps in the bassinet in her Pack n Play. I know the longer some people wait, the harder it is on the baby to adjust. And I'm not sure how I should go about doing the transition. Should I start putting her in her crib when she's down for a nap? Do that a few times, and maybe if I do put her in her crib for the first time overnight, maybe do it on a Friday/Saturday night. That way if it doesn't go over well, we still have the weekend to catch up some Z's and help her adjust to everything.

its not really a big transition to the crib, Leo outgrew his moses basket at 4 weeks, so had to be in his cot, and there was not bother at all lol
also those pack n play things are awful!! they had one at the hotel i stayed at for my operation, and Leo screamed in it!!, that was the beginning of the falling asleep on our bed thing *sigh*... 3 months on... lol

What's the pack n play?? o_O
but well, everyone is different.. I'm using the crib as of day one.. it really depends on the baby and you guys..
Observe your baby, see how your baby develops.. or just randomly try putting your baby in the crib.. see how that goes.. there's no given time for all babies..
...baby baby baby baby!

Our daughter stayed in her bassinet for 6 months. We were going through a move and had our crib packed away. When we put her in her crib, she took to it right away. We had NO problems what so ever. I felt better having her right next to me, cuz as a first time mommy the whole SIDS thing scared me. She is 2 years old now and we just moved her to a toddler so that baby brother can have the crib. Of course im going to have him in the bassinet for a while also...who knows how long!
