Ants are taking over...

posted 19th May
They are everywhere..the walls, the computer desk, the counters and cupboards, the floor, the blinds ...

what i'd like to know is if anyone has a solution..i'v gotten rid of most of them by wrapping a piece of tape around my hand and catching them..i'v put cinnimon in front of the door..i hear cayan pepper works better but we have none..i honestly dont even know if thats where they're comming in..but im about to put a piece of paper down with some honey on it..does anyone know if ants are attracted to sweet things? or if there is something stickier than honey that could work better? i'l try anything that i have here and dont have to go buy unless you've had exceptional results with ant traps..im just worried about Brodie trying to eat anything i put down and i doubt ant traps are toddler safe...HELP ME!!

have u tried baby powder.. put baby powder in the places where the ants are coming in from.. for some reason they wont cross the white line.

i read this off some internet page like a year ago when we had ants all over the place... and it worked for us

Just make sure you keep your house super clean. There is also a plug in thing that you can use to. My Monster in Law really doesn't keep that clean of a house and gets Black ants all the time. Dirty floors and she will leave food crumbs out. In combo with anold house she gets them. She did actually buy the things you plug into the wall and no more ants in her house. It chases out the bugs and rodents without chemicals. You can get them at Home Depot.

they are attracted to crumbs and definately sweet things..

I kinda have a similar problem, except they aren't everywhere, ..but they're red ants, so I'm kinda freaking out since I'm giving birth soon.. Don't want her near that.. I think I heard my mom say something about bay leaves.. they hate it or something.. to put them in the corners of the house.. dont know if it works.. but if anything just get some raid and do the edges.. of course, make sure your baby isnt around..

Screw those ants!

They've been crawling on my bathroom sink & on the bathroom walls for a week or so now. WTF? There is no food in my bathroom! They are just hanging out trying to lick the sink & see if they might find some toothpaste.

I kill atleast 4 of those suckers everytime I walk in there & they are FAST

Go to home depot and get the things you plug in the wall to chase out the bugs and rodents. No chemicals, nothing harmful.

yeah but Brodie gets full range of the entire upstairs and he'd have that ripped out of the wall and in his mouth..I'd put it in the kitchen outlets above the counter but those are full and unless we run a extension it wont work.
