re: vent: i dont like when first time

Babysitting your nephews/nieces is way different then raising your own child. Trust me I have a total of twelve nephews and nieces. I became an aunt when I was in fifth grade. I changed the diapers, fed them bottles, played with them, and so forth. Babysitting them even paid for my college books lol.

I now have two young kids, very different raising them from newborn to now. I also give advice if people ask. This site is made for others to give advice about parenting. One doesn't have to take the advice but personally, I am appreciative of the advice given to me.

Having your own kid is completey different.. I like you id inwould never do certain things insaw other parents do and guess what ... I do them. Your not a parent yet, and when that babh comes andthat baby turns into a toddler and then a young child.. All the things you were gonna go get thrown out the window.. I was an awewsome perfect mom before i actually had them..

I would have to agree with this. There were certain things that I swore up and down that I'd never do, but it all changed once my daughter got here. What may have worked for my nephews didn't work for my daughter. Since every baby and their personality is different, I had to find what worked best for my daughter and I.

Op, I can understand your frustration when people try to shove their parenting views down your throat, but just take it with a grain of salt. When your LO gets here, you'll figure out what advice suits your needs, and what advice is just useless to you.

Like I said I don't like it from moms who will be making the same mistakes my sisters have years of experience....there some one u can trust..... so yea it does bug me when there making mistakes as I can see I'm no one to give advice if I hadn't have experienced myself so yea ppl who've had 2 3 or even 4 kids can explain how each child is different so yea venting is the subject others can think different that's there Smurf but as for me I'm not a fan love it or hate it
