Pregnant on Depo Shot

How many of you ladies has gotten pregnant while on Depo?
Just curious!

I was on depo on/off for 2-3 years i never had a problem with it. I loved the depo Shot

not me but know someone who had all 5 of her kids while on birthcontrol period but had 3 of them (one set of twins) on the depo

I have been on the Depo since June 15th so only one shot and have had HORRIBLE pregnancy symptoms since a few weeks after I got it. They just keep getting worse and worse every day but I keep getting BFNs on hpts. I read that pregnancy symptoms are a side effect but this is ridiculous. I have an appt to get my second shot for Sept 10th but I am getting the Paragard instead(if Im not really pregnant that is). I am done with the side effects of this thing.


Anyway, why do you ask? Did you get pregnant while on it?

I recommend depo to anybody that's considering it.I had it before I ever got pregnant and it's probably what I'll get after my second child is born.
Two is my limit for kids so yup
It's either getting tied up or birth control
Make sure if you don't want to get pregnant go back to your dr visits and get the vaccination and save yourself sometime that probably takes nothing to about 10-15 mins or less

I was actually asking because I got pregnant on the Depo almost 2 years ago. Just wondering if anyone else went hru this as well.

How did you know that you were pregnant on it? Did you get a positive hpt or did you have to go to the doctor to find out? Im just curious since I am getting all these symptoms but getting negative tests.

Basically I was having bad lower abdominal pains I went to the hospital and they did a pregnancy test and and ultrasound

Found out I was 17 almost 18 weeks pregnant

Hmmm......interesting. I have to go to my OB on the 10th so maybe I will have her do an ultrasound just in case. I have been having shooting pains down there but nothing to be concerned about. They are the same thing I got every time I was pregnant in the past.
