I just dont understand (vent)

I just dont understand what can be more important then being there for your baby's birth. How does a person make all these plans to leave out the state/country 3 months before their child is born and i certainly dont understand how a person just expects me to be ok with it and the ones that are saying ok go for it are just as bad. I cant respect it as much as ive tried bc i didnt make this child alone so i shouldnt have to labor alone, ive never had to and yes its too much to be asked to. SMH Philadelphia here i come.

So... the baby's dad isn't going to be there for the birth, is what I'm getting from this? Is he leaving town for work or pleasure?

What does Philadelphia have to do with it?

work for a year but then if that falls through hes going with something else so either way hes just tryna leave and im from Philadelphia, moved to New York with him. He wants me to stay while hes gone.

Why is the baby's dad leaving? Is there a good reason?

I never changed it back after an arguement. We are actually engaged... well was idk how much longer we are gonna last

It's for work, so I mean... he's trying to make things better for you. Can you labor with your mom or someone else? Cut the guy some slack, he's trying to get a better job for you, know what I mean?

No his friend is. Hes in the army but the two arent related. His friend has to get a team together to do some work over there and he asked him.

But maybe he wants to get a head start on it before the baby gets here, you know? Or maybe he doesn't want to uproot you.

If you have no family there, can't you move closer to your family until he gets stuff straight and you can come with him?
