Im glad my childs father is a great guy

Its funny how alot of guys will tell their girlfriends or wives of course im gonna be there and help raise my child and then they run off. Im so glad my husband isnt like this. My husband has been absolutely wonderful this whole 21 weeks. He does anything and everything he can to make me happy and anything and everything he can to support our first born son on Jan 6th 2013. I have never seen a man get so excited about having a baby. If any female needs to talk about being alone while being pregnant im here to offer advice or just to listen. My DH was fabulous during pregnancy...then the baby was born and I was doing everything alone. *shrug*

i'm confused.
i think it's great that your husband is so involved, but why would women who are going through pregnancy and motherhood alone approach you for comfort or advice?

Good for you I guess. Not everyone is so lucky and not everyone's husbands are pieces of smurf either. But whatever gets you through the day I guess.

Yea, I wouldn't be too sure of anything. My BD was pretty great during my pregnancy and since my daughter has been born, he hasn't seen her much.

My SO was a mega smurf when I was pregnant, but when DD was born he got his smurf together.

You're still pregnant, so of course things are great. Just remember people change.

what kind of advice? he is the one being a good father on his own, it's not like you are "making" him. Aside from that, you wouldn't know anything about doing it alone. Congrats on having a good husband though, there are more out there than you probably think.

My son,s father was great...until my sons was nearly two and I got pregnant again. He bailed and is now with a barely twenty year old party girl who used to be his " best friend"...yeah...not going to believe he did not screw her while we were together for 7 years...

Mine to. My SO is a great dad and a fantastic partner to raise kids with. Other than that, I could push him under a bus some days. lol.

I don't see how it's "funny" that a guy can not be a good father.
This post just screams "let's rub in my great life" to me.
You haven't even had your kid yet, why don't you just wait and see. I know a lot of men who were excited about the "baby" till it was born.
