oil hair treatment

Hey everybody!
so i just found out that I'm pregnant! and I was considering going to a salon and getting hair treatment with oils and stuff because my hair is OUT OF CONTROL! does anyone have any idea if it's ok to do that, i'm not sure what the products are.

The safest thing to use is vegetable oil. Oh and use some Vaseline on the roots because that will make them extra shiny.

Let the salon know you're pregnant and they will make sure to use the right chemicals
