can someone help me make sense of this please?!

Two days ago I took a pregnancy test, it was NEGATIVE
I am almost positive I ovulated between the 11th and the 13th.. On the 11th I had unprotected sex with my ex, and he didn't pull out very good

My boobs have been getting sharp twinges the past week that don't last any more than a minute.

Today is the day I was supposed to start my period.. I woke up this morning with period like cramps, I even had to have a bowel movement right away because it was bad. I took an IBU profen, I had a tampon in ALL day, just took it out.. was expecting the thing to be saturated as hell..and no.. Hardly any blood at all.. and there was also white mucous, bright red/brown blood.. WTF? It's too late for implantation cramps, so is mother nature trying to scare me?

no...sounds to me that your period is just beginning.

Red blood would lead me to believe its your period....

I did bleed early in pregnancies with my daughter and son.. but I never had this bad of cramps with it.
