re: TUMS - Rolaids?

i thought i read somewhere that tums had asprin in them...
i could be wrong but read the label in case.
i didn't have heartburn so i never asked but, just check to make sure!

chewy rolaids for me. i take one and it tastes good.the pink ones i forget the flavor

Rolaids are fine. They're just about the same thing, really...calcium carbonate in both. I thing Tums work better, but it may just be in my head.

my doc told me to go ahead and take Zantac because i would have to keep taken tums more offen....And to me Zantac works alot better....

there is no difference between rolaids and tums...read the packaging.

ive ben told to stick with tums. i drink milk and it helps me. and ive heard that zantac works but i have acid reflux disease and it doesnt work for me at all even before i got pregnant. i only take tums or milk.

i read this list of safe things to take during pregnancies for the kinds of things..
and TUMS and Rolaids both are safe!!
[but i stick to TUMS cuz they're cheaper getting a big container full...especially the ultra 1000 e-x... Mmmm berries   i always chow down 2 when i get it bad...n it tends to go away pretty quick]

just like....if you gotta headache err whatev, ONLY tylenol.. or the generic, but as long as it's ACETAMINOPHEN...non-aspirin...but hopefully you know that already...

I took tums when I was pregnant and it would help me. I used to get the worst heartburn ever!!

Doctor gave me an Rx for Zantac but I still eat Tums. They are both safe so it is just a matter of preference. I think Tums has added calcium (they both have some calcium in the form of carbonate) because they are also a "Calcium Supplement".

Either way, ask your Doctor for an Rx. It helps so much more and then just take the Tums for the calcium boost.

my mom says it makes her get it bad...

omg you are able to take tume when your pregnant ugh i find this out now that im not pregnant! grrr suffering through most of ym pregnancy with heart bearn and i come to find out when im not ugh
