everyone is partying hard... not me

mostly i just wish i had some friends who didn't party... i'm living in an apartment .... my room mates drink EVERY night my neighbors are drunk and well... i feel really left out....make matters worse i'm 14 hours away from my mom. And boyfriend (who also smokes and partys) dosnt live near me....
anyone else in this mood of "left outness"
plus morning sickness deff. dose not help ://

Well, I live only an hr from my family but I stay inside at home with DD EVERYDAY. I've never been a partier, so I don't mind staying home but I wish I had friends that lived here. However DH and I are taking DD to the zoo tomorrow!

My mother drinks wine and beer in front of me and I feel a little left out when she does... but seriously, it's 9 months to a year that you won't be drinking. If you still want to be "partying hard" maybe getting pregnant wasn't the smartest move.

This sounds like me. I never partied either but friends would be nice.

I live about 19 hours from my friends and family.
And it seems like no one wants to "party" with a pregnant lady around here, I'm not invited to anything.  
DH keeps me sane and happy though!

Have a talk with your roommate. Maybe he or she can go drink and party around someone else and not have you around that. If they dont stop you have to take yourself out of the situation. When you become pregnant you will soon realize that all the people who you thought were your friends werent they are just party people. Also you will see yourself being friends with someone you never thought you would be.

i guess i should add i haven't told anyone but my boyfriend and his mom.... i use to be the fist one at the party and the last one to pass out... Soo everyone thinks i'm being a bitch by not going to partys... i'm soo excited about my lil babies (i'm having twins) and i wouldn't change it for the world... i'm just wishing i had someone to talk to and hang out with ://

Her room-mates pay their share of the rent and have every right to drink in their own apartment regardless of who is or isn't pregnant. I hate when pregnant women seem to feel they can tell people to stop doing something.

i never told her to tell them to stop, I told her to ask them not to do it infront of her.

i'm probably gonna talk to them soon about it... i think they already have suspicions about the bathroom smelling like vomit during the day....
and even tho yes they do pay rent its not like it would kill them to be respectful....

Or you could be respectful to their lifestyle. You knew what they were like when you moved in, in fact, you were more "hardcore" than they are (or so you said). How would you feel if someone comes up and says "stop living like this because my life is about to change?"  

well when you put it that way....

i just want it to be a pleasant living situation for all 3 of us... and if u live with other people then u kno that sometimes u have to make sacrifices to make EVERYONE comfortable... since i'm home a lot more than them i clean dishes and such and they pay for cable because i do not watch t.v (at all)...
all i want is for them to take my situation into understanding... like i take the fact that they don't ussaly have time to do extra house chores
and i don't mind when its just them drinking ... but when they throw a party (10+ people) i want to wring necks

I live with 4 men (including my SO), they smoke and drink. I would never asked them to stop, ever. I was a chain smoker before this pregnancy and I drank plenty... It makes me want to smoke and drink, but that's my problem, not theirs.

gain not asking them to stop just stop bringing tons of people over.... like i said its give and take... my life is changing and i expect respect just like i respect them.... this post was just a rant...
