re: Learning how to crochet

I have the knitting book as well, but have had to refer more to YouTube for that. The crochet book, on the other hand, taught me all the basics I needed to know and now I can pretty much do anything crochet... I haven't really worked on knitting much   Now that the weather is getting cooler I'll have more time for it

honestly youtube! it's the best way to learn and possibly by a book that has pictures to show basic stitches for when you start being able to read patterns.. i'd start by looking up videos.. pause and rewind worked great.. there are several videos of ppl who go slow for beginners..
since then i've started my own crochet business and it's booming, thanks to youtube!
