My loans finally got approved for college. Thank god! Now I need to look into getting a new laptop asap because this one is falling apart pretty quick and it's more of a desktop now. But what a good laptop that's under $700? I need something that's good with pictures and videos since I have a lot of my son. I have the Sims 3 even though I never play it anymore but I'd like something that I have the option of putting it on without my computer freaking out. I don't want a Mac because they're over priced for what I need.

It's so stressful. I've been putting off looking for one because I knew that if I couldn't get my federal loan increased then I'd either need to pick new tires for my car to get my to school or a laptop for my online classes. Tonight I looked and it was completely approved. I was so relived. My online classes started an hour ago lol
I just broke my 3yr old laptop so I'm in the market for one too. DH is looking at a bare bones HP (around $400). He bought one for his brother and nicer model for his parents. What I broke was an HP so i see the pattern here - if it's not gonna be a Mac in this house, it's gonna be a HP (DH is an IT guy so i trust him in this arena)
