re: child support/visitation question

My kids dad doesnt work, I support her fully myself. I am a student and work and am the only income that supports her. Its hard, I hope you dont have to go through it.

Oh I will, but I don't think they will let him off easy, because she is disabled, and he does not help out at all. He has seen or spoken to her in over 2 yrs

I was told when you go to court, the judge will take into account his ability to find a job. So it wont be "oh you pay $50 seee you later"

Yeah I think they will make him pay more than $50.

My dad had his boss record his pay wrong for a long long time. He was making a ton more than he said

That's horrible.

Child support is also determined by how much the other parent makes(so if you make more then the other baby momma, yours would be less) and how much time he spends with the child.
And like someone else said, the first child gets more just like if you guys had another child, it wouldnt mean he has to pay you double.
