Quoting Mrs.O♥:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Dicey Wifey:</b>" And he finally fessed up! After our date last ... [snip!] ... other three nights of the week."</blockquote> I'm glad he finally came out to talk about it! What did you say to him?"
I am, too.
In more or less words I said that I can see his point of view but we can still go on dates, we'd just have to plan ahead and get a sitter. I think he likes the idea of being able to go anywhere he wants without having to do that. I know he wants more kids but this is part of having them. You have to take the fun with the responsibilities.
I didn't say this but I think we kind of "have our cake and eat it, too" so to speak with Jace. We have fun, we teach him, we do all the normal responsible things (doctors appointments, ect) but it isn't 24/7. We get 3 days and 3 nights off per week for us. We didn't do the normal people thing where you first meet, then get married, then have kids... I had one all along. So of course this is going to be an adjustment.
