I am, too.

In more or less words I said that I can see his point of view but we can still go on dates, we'd just have to plan ahead and get a sitter. I think he likes the idea of being able to go anywhere he wants without having to do that. I know he wants more kids but this is part of having them. You have to take the fun with the responsibilities.

I didn't say this but I think we kind of "have our cake and eat it, too" so to speak with Jace. We have fun, we teach him, we do all the normal responsible things (doctors appointments, ect) but it isn't 24/7. We get 3 days and 3 nights off per week for us. We didn't do the normal people thing where you first meet, then get married, then have kids... I had one all along. So of course this is going to be an adjustment.

It's definitely an adjustment, and it's like nerves are taking the best of him. But once you start the process and go through with the IUI, and once he hears the heartbeat etc, I think something will change in him

I think he feels that he has a sense of control in this situation... he has to sign the consent (he hasn't signed yet... boo) and I respect his wishes, ya know...

I think he'll get excited the more we get to see and hear the little one... it's not really real to guys until they see the ultrasound pics or hear the heart beat. They're not the ones dealing with the nausea, heartburn, stretchmarks, dizziness, headaches, and pain lol

Check has been set and surgery is schedule for the 28th of November. Nerves are setting in now. This is real and I hope and pray we have a happy ending!

The urologists office called today, saying they received the check and that there is a cancellation and he could get in sooner, the 24th which was the date we were offered before. So I said I'll ask my DH and call back

I call DH and see if he can work it out. Technically he would only have to be out for 3 days. He asked his boss and he said he can't. That he's getting his tooth pulled on Thursday... God forbid they close on one day and you can't come in on Friday... It's just the two of them that work on cars. But really? So annoyed.

Yes he does. He gave us DHs Christmas bonus early so we could afford his surgery. But he will be out Thursday and Friday I'm guessing so if DH is out there's no one to run the shop. So we will just wait it out until the original appointment end of November. I'm just frustrated and sad.

I can understand being impatient because you've been doing nothing but waiting! It'll be worth it in the end though.
