Teen mom with 2 babies!!

I met this BOY back in 2009, we were 14 at the time. We hit it off instantly, started dating, & having sex. I became sexually active a month before I turned 14 (mistake) I ended up falling in love with this boy.. I was slowly losing my family over him (not literally) but I started sneaking out to be w/ him, & sneaking him in, etc. Well I ended up pregnant at 16.. :O gasp! shocker right!? *sarcasm* I was just finishing up my junior year in high school. My parents found out, they were upset, but they got over it & eventually was happy to be welcoming a new member of the family. It was a baby girl (: I STAYED IN SCHOOL! Something I recommend all teen moms do IF you have your family's help & support.. now if not, then I don't know how I would have handled that situation. BUT ANYWAYS: I went to a program called Ombudsman for my Senior year & I was still able to participate in all of the school activities but I chose not to.. I had my daughter at 17 & then received my high school diploma 5 months later. I got pregnant again when my daughter was just 2 months old!! & now I'm expecting another baby around the time of my daughter's first birthday! I'm happy & I don't care about any negative opinions.

But let me give you some info on my BD..
He's pretty much a POS, no job, & his potential is hanging by a thread. He got locked up roughly 2 months before our daughter was born.. spent 3 to 4 months in juvie, spent his 17th birthday in juvie.. & missed the birth of our daughter. I still stuck by his side & picked him up when he was released. He was amazing w/ our daughter when he got out, I just knew everything would be perfect! BUT as time went on, we started arguing a lot more than usual & I finally gave up & broke up w/ him.. not much after, he started dating A FRIEND (who obviously was never a friend) & she happened to be one of the first to even hold my daughter.. I have several negative comments to say about her but she's not important. I was already pregnant once they starting dating, I just wasn't positive.. but I'll be 24 weeks on 8/26/12 & nothing has changed. Sooo yes, I AM a single mother w/ 2 kids from a POS BD :\

The reason why I wasn't on BC.. they didn't give me anything before I was dischared from the hospital. I missed my 6 week appt. & at all of my followups, they never gave it to me due to the fact that I had to be tested for pregnancy each time to make sure.. then it was too late. & I know I should have used condoms.. but I just didn't. I wasn't thinking.

And it's not the health clinic or hospitals fault you didn't get BC. If you wanted it you could of asked. It was the 1st thing I asked for after having my son. And it was MY responsibility to get it.

Ps your extremely fertile after you give birth. Maybe keep that in mind for next time. If you care!

You asked for it on here...just saying and be prepared. You sound smart, so be smart-USE protection from now on!!!!!! Please!!!!!! And, go to college and make something of yourself.

Well good luck on having 2 little ones! I am sure you will do fine without him. I got pregnant at 16 in 2010, but June 2010 a lot was going on in my life and i had a miscarriage. My baby's father wasn't in juvi at all, but we did have a toxic relationship before i got pregnant and i am sure we would have had a toxic relationship after i had the baby. We spent a lot of our relationship arguing and fighting and a lot of it was abusive physically and emotionally. If you need anyone to talk to you can always talk to me.

You definately need look into long term birth control such as mirena or paragard. You don't have to remember to take it and it'll prevent baby number 3. I understand you 'weren't thinking' before you got pregnant with baby number one but condoms should have been a priority BEFORE baby number two came to be. Good luck...you'll need it.

I couldn't imagine having two kids by 18. But best of luck.

It's not the hospitals responsibility to give you BC, I don't even think hospitals give you BC... It's your job to go straight to your doctor or a Planned Parenthood facility.

Just make sure you get BC right after this child....
